Cook County Bureau of Economic Development offers talent solutions to businesses to attract, retain, and retrain employees. Cook County, selected by the State of Illinois, serves as an Apprenticeship Navigator for the 10 counties of the Chicago metro area will assist and educate employers .

Learn how we are supporting employers during the pandemic
The Recovery Manufacturing Concierge Assistance Program is designed to help manufacturing businesses access the tools and services they need to recover and rebound from the effects of COVID-19. This program will be administered by our partner the Illinois Manufacturing Excellence Center (IMEC). IMEC will reach out to Cook County’s manufacturing leaders to conduct a 5-minute survey and gather insights into manufacturers' urgent and important priorities. IMEC will assess the issues and needs put forth by these businesses, providing direct assistance, and connecting them to applicable tools and services. Some of which include:
- Technical Assistance
- Guidance on taxes, daily operations, supply chain, and human resources
- Webinar training and educational services (available in multiple languages)
- Workforce training resources

How does the program work?

How do I qualify?

Is there a cost to the program?
There is no cost for this service. We are here to learn about your needs and provide support. Our findings and resulting recommendations are provided to you free of charge.
How long will assistance through this program be offered?
Trò chơi bắn cáOutreach and needs assessments will be conducted through the end of 2020. From the results gathered, assistance to participating manufacturers will remain ongoing until their priorities have been addressed.
